Research Starting Points:
-Harvard Kennedy Think Tank- A think tank is a group that does detailed research on problems and policy solutions
-Google Custom Search--Non-Governmental organizations (a NGO is a nonprofit organization that operates independently of any government, typically one whose purpose is to address a social or political issue).
-Google Custom Search-Intergovernmental Organizations (an intergovernmental organization is a group of members (states, countries, etc.) working together on issues of mutual self-interest. Some IGO's are legal entities. The United Nations (UN) is a good example of an IGO.

- Select GALE from the menu of resources.
- Click the high school tab. Select the database that matches your topic best, or try the general file searches at the top if none of the specifics match your topic well.
- Enter our school's username and password from the bookmark you received from the library.
- Search using different terms and/or by using suggested terms and articles in the sidebars of helpful articles.
- Make sure to use the tools to save your articles--don't copy and paste the URL.
